Giving KTM Duke 390 stiff competition will be BMW Motorrad's G 310 R, which is expected to be launched by March/April 2017. Marking BMW's official entry to India, the G 310 R will be the first bike to come out of the BMW-TVS partnership.

The BMW G 310 is powered by a 313 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve petrol engine that is tuned to produce 34 BHP of maximum power along with a peak torque rating of 28 Nm.

The price of the bike will be in the range of Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
